Backup power

Solar power storage systems with a backup power function enable electricity consumers to independently switch to the in-house storage system if the public grid fails. After the switchover, it takes a few seconds until selected consumers are supplied with backup power from the PV system or battery storage. The PV system can also continue to produce solar power and store the excess energy in the battery storage system. Backup power is not suitable for a completely uninterruptible power supply.
